About the Firm

In January 1999, two law firms merged to form Cooper, Ridge & Beale. Though Mr. Beale passed away shortly after the merger, the firm wished to honor his legacy in its corporate name for several years.

In 2008, and after five years as an associate attorney, Tiffiny Douglas Safi joined Cooper and Ridge as a partner, giving the law firm its current name. With over 70 years’ combined experience, Cooper Ridge & Safi has continually proven excellence among the legal community.

In 2009, Bill Cooper and George Ridge, together with W. C. Gentry, formed First Coast Mediation and Arbitration, LLC to provide mediation and arbitration services to the firm’s clients. Each attorney is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator with experience in federal and state court cases. The firm’s office building has separate conference and break-out rooms designated solely to provide the space and privacy to conduct business with comfort and confidentiality.
